Seaqloud, local collaboration provides great value

Local cooperation of great value

At Seaqloud AS, we are committed to developing robust and forward-looking solutions – not only technologically, but also through careful selection of partners and subcontractors.

That is why we are proud of our collaboration with Favros Stoff og Beslag AS, a small, local company in Nord-Troms that demonstrates that quality, flexibility, and professionalism are not about size, but about expertise and commitment.

Favros Stoff og Beslag AS is located in Manndalen in the municipality of Kåfjord. The company was registered as a limited company in 2021, when the owners purchased a smithy in the village. At the same time, the business builds on long experience and solid craft traditions. Lavvo and gammes sewing has been part of the work since 1995, and today Favros combines traditional craftsmanship with modern production. The company supplies both textile and metal products and is known for its ability to tailor solutions to customer needs.

A collaboration that inspires and develops the company

The collaboration began when Seaqloud made direct contact after learning about Favros' expertise in welding and special production.

"Seaqloud contacted us when they saw that we were involved in welding and various types of production," says Trine Mathisen, administrative employee and logistics manager at Favros.

Today, Favros supplies Seaqloud with, among other things, mounting brackets, solder for sensors, and covers for sensors. These are components that place high demands on quality.

"The collaboration with Seaqloud is very professional. It gives us new challenges and ideas along the way, and it means a lot to us to get assignments that generate income for a small, local business," says Mathisen.

For Favros, the collaboration has also provided inspiration for further development.
– "We are not afraid to develop according to what our customers need. When we can show that we deliver to a major player such as Seaqloud, others also see that a small company can deliver quality and meet clear requirements specifications," she explains.

Trust, development, and local value creation

The dialogue between the parties is described as close, professional, and characterized by mutual trust.

"We are challenged to participate in developing products according to Seaqloud's needs. This gives us valuable experience, and we feel that Seaqloud trusts us. This is very important for a small supplier like us," says Mathisen, emphasizing that the collaboration is characterized by flexibility and good interaction.

For Seaqloud, the collaboration with Favros Stoff og Beslag AS is a clear example of how high-tech solutions can be built in collaboration with small, local suppliers. It's about more than just deliveries. It's about creating local value, contributing to development in the local area, and building long-term relationships.
