Lisbeth Plassen takes over as CEO of the newly merged software companies Naviaq and Seacloud, and marks the merger by changing her name to Seaqloud.
Before Christmas, the two Bluefront Equity-owned companies announced plans to merge to provide an even more complete and cost-effective data-driven service offering to the aquaculture industry.
- We have spent the last few months implementing a technical and organizational merger, as well as developing a strategy for how we can jointly create even more value for our customers," says Lisbeth Plassen, CEO of Seaqloud, in a press release.
Plassen was previously CEO of Naviaq.

Newly merged Seaqloud delivers sensors and software that provide a total overview of the environmental conditions of the fish, both above and below the sea surface. The company also delivers solutions that provide an overview of equipment, operations and logistics. Overall, the solutions help to standardize, quality assure and streamline work processes for the aquaculture industry.
In addition to making aquaculture companies' operations more efficient, Seaqloud's systems make it easier for fish farmers to meet new requirements for on-site environmental monitoring for an entire year. The combination of sensors and customized software ensures that the data is of the highest quality.
